We appreciate the fact some customers need extra support sometimes, whether that's a mobility issue, circumstantial or just a rowdy pet. If there’s anything you'd prefer your Local Hero knew before they arrive, we want to hear about it.
Are you living with a health need or disability?
Some of our customers need a bit more time to get to the door, if have mobility issues or are partially sighted. By informing your Local Hero of any requests ahead of your appointment, your Local Hero can be aware they may need to wait a little longer for you to answer the door, explain in greater detail the work they'll be doing or spend more time demonstrating how an appliance works.
Our booking process provides a description box for you to include any information you'd like the tradesperson to be aware of when they arrive.
Don’t want us to ring the doorbell?
Maybe you have a new baby, or someone in the house is working nights. You might even have an over-excitable dog. Let us know when you book your appointment and your Local Hero can simply text or call to let you know when they’re outside.
