Happy New Year from Local Heroes!
The festive period is one of cold weather, warm clothes, soft snow and loud cheers. But if anything with your home goes wrong over Christmas, the period can quickly become a nightmare. Leaking pipes, no hot water or getting locked out can turn even the most festive mood’s sour.
While most of the Local Heroes around the country enjoyed Christmas at home with their families and friends, many dedicated Heroes stayed available to help unfortunate customers in their time of need.
We wanted to share some great feedback from customers who requested a Local Hero on the two worst days of the period: Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Very little they could do to improve the service. An experience that if I have problems again, I will without doubt, use Local Heroes. I booked online very late on Christmas Day’s night with a leaky downstairs ceiling. 5 mins later I had a phone call saying he would be out first thing in the morning on Boxing Day.
Sure enough, Gerry arrived. Checked everything from the heating system to the boiler, cold water as well and sourced the problem. Can’t ask for any better service. Thank you Local Heroes.

Very happy with job, Paul turned up on time and provided a reasonable quote. He did the work when arranged and arrived promptly first thing to begin work. It took longer than expected but he stayed longer than plan to ensure the job was completed in a day as planned. Work was tidy and to an excellent standard. Great communication would definitely recommend.
