Local Heroes reaches 7,000 tradespeople
Less than five months after signing up the 6,000th tradesperson to the Local Heroes platform, we’re celebrating again this week having now reached our 7,000th!
Mat Moakes, head of Local Heroes, said the growth is an encouraging sign for the future.
“It wasn’t so long ago that we started with just two Local Heroes. We haven’t forgotten them though, we actually named our meeting rooms after them!”
“7,000 tradespeople are now part of the Local Heroes family. We had big and brave goals from the start and it’s great now to see the number of hardworking men and women we have on board now.

Mat said expanding the services offered has fuelled the continued growth of the platform.
“We expanded into new trades at the end of last year and the start of 2018. We now offer 10 trades including finishing trades like plastering, tiling and painting and decorating as well as more everyday trades like handyman and appliance repair.
